Turkey and Stuffing:
To start, take some salt dough and shape it into an oval.
Now make two small, drumstick-shaped pieces and stick them to the sides of the oval.
Make two smaller ovals for the wings and stick them on. Bake the turkey on 350° Fahrenheit for an hour.
Paint the turkey brown and coat it in Mod Podge.
To make the stuffing, tear off small pieces of salt dough and paint them with brown and green watercolors. If you don’t have watercolors, you can mix craft paint with Mod Podge. Bake the stuffing on 350° Fahrenheit for an hour.
To make the tray for the turkey and stuffing, cut a large piece of aluminum foil and fold it in half.
Place the turkey on the foil with about two inches on the side. Fold the side up and crinkle the top until it is the height you want.
Cut off the excess foil with about two inches remaining.
Now fold and crinkle the other side, just like you did the first time.
Now make two slits where you folded the sides.
Fold the foil between the slits.
Tape the sides in.
Do the same thing to the other side.
Now add your stuffing.
Mix Mod Podge with some brown and yellow paint.
Paint this mixture over the turkey and stuffing.
Add a final layer of Mod Podge. Now you have the meat and potatoes of the meal – the turkey and stuffing!
Rolls:
Roll some small balls of salt dough and make Xs on them. Bake them on 350° Fahrenheit for an hour.
Pumpkin Pie:
Take a piece of aluminum foil and fold a lid around it the size you want your pie to be. I used a jam lid.
Cut the foil, leaving about an inch and a half more or less.
Fold the foil over around the edge.
Take the lid out.Take a circle of tan felt about an inch larger than your jar lid and glue it inside the aluminum foil. I didn’t have any felt when I made this, so I used tan foam, but I didn’t have much of that either, so I had to cut a circle for the bottom and then a ring for the top. It looks horrid, but I wasn’t prepared.😂
Now fill your aluminum pan with brown, orange, and yellow puffy paint. Mix it together until you get a color that looks like pumpkin pie. Now you’re done!
Sweet Potato Casserole:
To start, cut six pieces of orange craft foam the size you want your casserole to be. Glue or Mod Podge them together.
Tear some cotton balls in half and glue them to the craft foam. These are your marshmallows. When the whole top is covered, fill again the cracks between the cotton balls with orange puffy paint.Cover the whole casserole with Matte Mod Podge.
When the Mod Podge dries, lightly brush light brown paint over the top of the cotton balls.
For the dish, do the same thing you did for the turkey and stuffing: fold aluminum foil around the casserole and tape it in place.
Cranberry Sauce:
To start, take a handful of Perler Beads and pour them into a cup. Add red, pink, and brown paint until you have a color that looks like cranberry sauce.
Pour the mixture into a jar lid. White works best. And you’re done!
Green Beans:
For the green beans, cut small strips of green foam and Mod Podge them together in small clusters. Place them in a jar lid.
Mashed Potatoes:
To make the mashed potatoes, take about five or six cotton balls and Mod Podge them inside a jar lid. Add a little bit of yellow paint for butter.
I hope all of you have a happy Thanksgiving!!! Bye for now!!!!!
